The industrial world has a long industry of process and change management. Productivity, reliability, quality, pro- cesses, evaluation... many steps – if not all – of the value chain have worked on processes to improve their results and their input.
Some of these practices, like Lean Sigma, have been designed for and by an indus- trial environment, but can be adopted by service companies for their benefit. They can enhance many aspects of the service delivering process, by optimising it for both company and customers.
