How to generate a stronger employee engagement?

Paperjam.lu

Research tells us that only a small number of employees are fully engaged and care about the future of their organisation. Different surveys throughout Europe consistently demonstrate that only 15% to 20% of workforces are really committed to the success of their organisation. This is an alarming situation with potentially serious consequences if not acted upon.

A few key questions naturally arise:
- What can be done to increase this number?
- What are the criteria for people to become engaged in their work?
- How does an organisation build and maintain a workforce that is enthusiastic about their contribution towards their organisation’s vision and goals?

Employee engagement is strongly related to the relationship between people at work. Managers need to develop their own leadership skills with the objective to positively impact the people around them to create and promote an atmosphere based on engagement.

In this interactive workshop we will explore how to understand what makes employees engage and want to go the extra mile – and what makes them disengage.

We will take a look at the latest research on employee engagement as well as the respective influences of empowerment, behaviours, values, communication, etc.
