The logic behind logistics: a chance to diversify the regional economy at global scale

With her great knowledge of the air cargo business and her strong management skills and personality, Hjoerdis Stahl will explain how Luxembourg’s and the Greater Region’s economy can benefit from the implementation of the logistics platform, and share some ideas how business in general can learn from a business such as Air Cargo, which at first sight may seem very simple and straightforward but is in fact very complex.

Hjoerdis Stahl will also give the attendees a look behind the scenes of the Luxair Cargo Center, with a tour of the premises.

You will be able to park in the visitors parking. Please do not forget to bring your identity card or passport. No access to the event will be authorized without a valid ID checked by the airport authorities.

This event will take place in a secured area of the Luxembourg Airport. For logistics reasons, access to the venue will be impossible after 6.45 PM.

The number of attendees to the event is therefore limited to 30.

Hjoerdis Stahl, 44 years old, is Executive Vice-President at LuxairCARGO and a member of the LuxairGroup Executive Committee since 2008.

She is head of the freight handling at Europe’s 5th biggest cargo airport at Findel airport, with over 1,200 staff working at the LuxairCARGO Cargocenter.

Born in Puerto Rico, she completed her university studies in the USA before starting working at Lufthansa. She stayed with Lufthansa until joining LuxairGroup, working in such diversified fields as Human Resources, Product Management, Passenger Handling, Catering or IS&O before going into the Air Cargo business. In her final position, she was responsible for Handling Services, Germany and the Lufthansa Cargocenter in Frankfurt.

Luxair will provide a cocktail at the venue.
